Product photography is a genre of photography that stems from my six year studies at the University of Tennessee. I majored in Advertising and I always wanted to be the one on the work end of the ad for the product or service we were trying to promote. Through my photography now, I try and evoke the Pavlovian theory . . . It basically says, a conditioned response for a repeated activity can be stimulated even after removing the initial stimulus; which for Pavlov’s dog . . . was food. Every time Pavlov rang the bell his dog would salivate and every time I finish editing a photograph, it becomes something you need;)
